Privacy Policy

Overview

MathFlux (“the app”) is developed and operated by Samuel Falade. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how it is used. We are committed to minimizing data collection and never selling your personal information.

Data We Collect

MathFlux collects only what is necessary to operate the game:

Anonymous authentication identifier — generated automatically by Firebase Auth when you use multiplayer features. This is a random device-scoped ID, not tied to your name or email.
Gameplay data — scores, difficulty levels, and session statistics stored locally on your device and optionally synced to Apple Game Center under your Apple ID.
Purchase receipts — verified locally via StoreKit 2 to unlock Premium features. We do not store or transmit payment information.

Firebase

MathFlux uses Firebase Realtime Database (Google) to power live multiplayer rooms. Room data (room code, scores, anonymous UID) is stored temporarily during a match and removed automatically when the session ends or either player disconnects. Firebase may collect device-level diagnostic information as described in Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

Apple Game Center

Leaderboard scores and achievements are submitted to Apple Game Center using your existing Apple ID. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. MathFlux does not have access to your Apple ID or personal Apple account details.

What We Do Not Collect

Your name, email address, or any contact information
Location data
Camera, microphone, or contacts access
Advertising identifiers or tracking data
Any data sold or shared with third-party advertisers

Children's Privacy

MathFlux is rated 4+ and is designed to be safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we use anonymous authentication only, no personal identifiers are required to play.

Data Retention

Multiplayer room data is deleted from Firebase servers automatically at the end of each session. Local gameplay statistics remain on your device and can be cleared by deleting the app. Game Center data is managed through your Apple account settings.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information tied to your identity, there is no user account to delete. To remove all local data, simply delete the app from your device. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at samuelfalade@gmail.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “last updated” date at the top of this section will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
